Bespoke script consultancy service, from script notes to ongoing project development. Chris' specialist area is unconventional narrative structure in feature films, the subject of his PhD thesis. Chris's films have played at 16 international film festivals, winning several awards, and he has twice been shortlisted for the Sundance Screenwriters Lab. Chris can offer the most value to independently spirited projects that aim for arthouse quality.
Fiction Editing
Chris has particular interests in narrative structure and prose style, particularly in short fiction. His fiction has been published in a dozen journals and anthologies worldwide, and shortlisted or nominated for 6 national and international awards. His first short fiction collection, Stellify, will be published by Broken Sleep Books in 2022. He has taught creative writing at Manchester Metropolitan University since 2016.
